Get ready for some finger lickin' BBQ and toe tapping bluegrass when Boone Hall Plantation kicks off its annual BBQ and Bluegrass festival Sunday, Sept. 5 at noon.

Gates open at 11 a.m. and tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate.

The event features beer, wine, and a variety of delicious BBQ. The headline performer is the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Other acts include The Dillards, Homeboy Reunion and Blue Plantation.

The popular Mechanical Bull Riding Contest and the Celebrity Dunking Booth return. Locals and amateurs are invited to show off their talents in a barbecue competition in an effort win cash.
