The DSAL (Down Syndrome Association of theLowcountry) Buddy Camp was held at Providence Baptist Church on Daniel Island last week.

A primary goal of the camp is to provide opportunities for the children with Down Syndrome to achieve success.

DSAL's mission is to promote awareness, inclusion and acceptance of all individuals.

The camp's focus is about fostering and improving relationships between the camper and the camp buddy.

This year the theme for Buddy Camp was "on the go."
