Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC) will hold its annual Shuckin' for Shelter Oyster Roast on Goldbug Island, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Feb. 6.
The oyster roast ticket price will also include Sticky Fingers barbeque, drinks and music. Tickets can be purchased at www.cydc.org, by phone at 266-5217 or at the event.
Tickets are $30 for individuals, two for $50. Event proceeds will benefit Carolina Youth Development Center, formerly known as the Charleston Orphan House, which has been caring for abused, neglected, and abandoned children in the Lowcountry since 1790.
