Clean up day

Volunteers are needed for a clean up day, Feb. 6 on the Francis Marion National Forest to remove trash and large items from illegal dumpsites in the forest.
Volunteers will meet at Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center (5821 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, South Carolina) at 8 a.m. and will be given directions to cleanup sites. Cleanup supplies will be provided. Lunch will be served at noon for all volunteers.
Francis Marion National Forest is located off Highway 17 between Georgetown and Charleston. To volunteer for the cleanup, contact Gene Campbell at 803-758-6034.
