PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA - Evelyn RomelleMarchant Crum, 88, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Royal Palm Retirement. Born in Port Charlotte, Florida. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20,2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Doualdson Home for Funerals.
Richard Marchant, her nephew, officiated with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Family members served as pallbearers. The family received friends on Tuesday, January 19 at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Crum was born on February 7,1921 in Climax and was the daughter of Reason Marchant and Emma Lou Paul Marchant, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Matthew Crum; five brothers; and three sisters. She was retired as an O.R. technician from Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, Florida.
Mrs. Crum is survived by one son, Stanley Crum of Pembroke Pines, Florida; one daughter. Charlotte Carey of Punta Gorda, Florida; one brother, David Lee Marchant of Moultrie; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
