[Subheading]
Wednesday, January 13, 2010
Taking advantage of his 'man-cook' heritage, Charleston native Jim
Thomas has launched a line of dry rubs for meats and vegetables that
reflect the flavors of the south- Jimbo's Lowcountry Rubs.
Thomas' father and grandfather, both southern man-cooks, served as his
inspiration to create spices that are easy to use and add a flavorful
punch to beef, poultry, pork, and even vegetables.
Already, the rubs have made it to several states and as far west as
Omaha, Nebraska, with rave reviews. Jimbo's Lowcountry Rubs has been
Certified South Carolina by the Department of Agriculture and can be
found at Piggly Wiggly at Seaside Farms, Lowcountry True Value
Hardware, Allusions Gifts at Seaside Farms and other specialty shops in
the state.
