A man was out at a local bar one night when his girlfriend showed up in a furry. He didn't see what happened next, but quickly found out about it as she drove off. In a fit of rage she pranced over to his car and smashed out the windshield with a pool stick case. She drove off down Hwy. 17 but another bar patron witnessed the whole thing and told the unfortunate boyfriend. He called police but then insisted that they not press charges and promised he was not in fear of his safety. There wasn't much officers could do at that point, but they did suggest that since the couple lives together, that it would probably be a good idea for the boyfriend to sleep somewhere else that night.
