A woman was outside grilling with her friends when some kids walked by and whistled to her dog. The dog naturally walked towards the kids and she called the dog back to the yard to get it away from the kids. Then all of a sudden one of the kids jumped on her car and in the process, smashed out the back window. she went over to confront the kid who quickly said, “sorry” and walked away.
She told him to get his behind back over to her so then he ran. She called police and while she was telling this story the punk kid comes back. He said he did jump on her car but that was to protect himself from her vicious dog who was lunging to attack him. He said he initially left the scene because he wanted to bandage up his wounds. He said once that was done he came back.
But it was obvious to the officer that he wasn’ telling the truth so he charged the kid with Malicious Injury to Personal Property.
