Trio Solutions Inc. invites local nonprofit organizations to apply for the 13th annual CreateAthon®, scheduled for September 16, 2010. CreateAthon® is a 24-hour, work-around the clock creative blitz during which Trio Solutions Inc. provides marketing and creative services to Lowcountry nonprofit organizations on a pro-bono basis. Trio Solutions is the official CreateAthon® agency for the Charleston-metro area. The selected nonprofits have little or no marketing budgets.
CreateAthon® was created by RIGGS advertising agency out of Columbia, South Carolina in 1997. Since the program’s expansion from a single market to an international effort in 2002, 73 agencies have joined the CreateAthon® network, holding CreateAthon® events in their cities. This effort has benefited more than 1,100 nonprofit organizations with approximately 2,500 projects valued at $11 million.

The round-the-clock creative work will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday. Work will be presented to the nonprofits on Friday at 8 a.m. The deadline for CreateAthon® 2010 applications is Friday, July 30. Trio Solutions will select five organizations to receive CreateAthon® 2010 services and will announce the winners on August 31.
