The Wando Volleyball team had a nice showing on Saturday, finishing second in the Spike it Tournament at Sumter High School.
The Warriors took care of Carolina Forest  in the first round, 2-0 (25-20; 25-21).
In the quarter finals, they were able to top Cardinal Newman in two straight, 26-24, 15-12, and later beat  Blythewood 25-20, 25-22, before losing to Rock Hill in the finals.
Rock Hill bested Bishop England to reach the finals, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13.
In the final match, the Warriors fell in two close games, 25-23, 25-21.
Lauren Hurt of Wando and Katie Cummings of Bishop England were named to the all tournament team.
