Lt. Col. Ed Chamberlayne will be replaced by Lt. Col. John Litz next week as district commander of the Charleston District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Districts are subject to changes in command every two years. Chamberlayne leaves to assume a position at the Pentagon.
