Kimberly Lynn Horne and Gene Wallace Dukes Jr. of Mount Pleasant were married Saturday, June 9, 2012.
The ceremony was performed outside by the pond under an arbor at Knight's Barn in Summerville.
The Rev. Charles Jakie Walters officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Samuel Horne III of St. George. The groom is the son of Ms. Geraldine Dorman Dukes of Mount Pleasant and the late Mr. Gene Wallace Dukes Sr. of St. George.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory organza ball gown, featuring a custom sweetheart neckline designed by Mori Lee.
She wore a single fingertip veil with ribbon edging and carried a white bouquet of peonies, hydrangeas and roses.
The Maid of Honor was Katherine Elaine Horne, sister of the bride of St. George.
Matron of Honor was Brittany Porter Forrester, friend of the bride of Atlanta, Ga.
The Best Man was Wayne Howard Dukes Jr., cousin of the groom, of Reevesville,
Bridesmaids included Caroline Anna Lee, Sarah Brooke Wrenn (both cousins of the groom), Meghan Elizabeth Frierson, Brittany Elise Galington, Margaret Felder Judy, Lauren Elizabeth Miller, Kayla Starr Simpson and Kendall LeeAnne Smith (all friends of the bride).
Honorary bridesmaids were Olivia Raye Wrenn, Rachael Leigh Wrenn (both cousins of the groom), Jourdan Cora Davis (friend of the bride).
Groomsmen included James Samuel Horne IV (brother of the bride), Brandon Gene Johnson (cousin of the groom), Stephen Michael Britt, Samuel Edward Hartzog, Trent Haskel King, Elliot Lawrence Mauney, William Lewis McKinnon Jr., Patrick Dennis Rhode, Robert Benjamin Williams (friends of the groom).
The flower girl was Emalee Mae Goode, friend of the bride and groom.
The ring bearer was Hayden Michael, good friend of the bride and groom and Lathan Casey Hartzog, God son of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic communications.
She is employed by Sawgrass Technologies in Mount Pleasant.
The groom is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is employed by Ferguson Enterprises in North Charleston.
A reception for the couple was held at Knight's Barn in Summerville.
After the celebration, the couple honeymooned in Turks and Caicos.
