Hagan Elizabeth Edgerton of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Justin Thomas McCall of Greenville, South Carolina were united in marriage on July 14, 2012 at St. Andrew's Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Mr. Tom Merritt officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Lighthouse on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Marie Coates Edgerton and Mr. Howard Eugene Edgerton, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Coates, Jr., of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Eugene Edgerton of Wilmington, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Joseph Dupee of Jensen Beach, Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. David Turner McCall of Anderson, South Carolina. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Russell of Greenville, South Carolina, and Mr. Thomas McCraney, of Greenville, South Carolina, and the late Mrs. Thomas McCraney.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory rouched satin gown by Mori Lee with a beaded sash and corset back. She wore an elbow-length veil with satin edging and carried a bouquet of hand-tied design of roses, callas, freesia, and hypericum. The maid of honor was Miss Chelsea Lockridge. Bridesmaids included Miss Meghan Anderson, Mrs. Samantha MacDonald, and Miss Sarah Stalnaker. Miss Makenzie McCall, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. The best man was Mr. Kyle Fischer. Groomsmen included Mr. Jason McCall and Mr. Josh McCall, brothers of the groom, and Mr. Sean Conn. Mr. Jason Edgerton, brother of the bride, was the usher. Ring bearers were Joseph A. Coates, V, cousin of the bride, and Jackson McCall, nephew of the groom.
The bride will graduate from Clemson University in May 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The groom is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Secondary Education. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's family, was held on Friday, July 13, at Morgan Creek Grill on the Isle of Palms. The couple honeymooned in Mexico and reside in Greenville.
