Uhhmm? Your bar tab?

  • Monday, January 14, 2013

Police were called to a bar for a report of defrauding an innkeeper. The manager of the bar said a customer racked up a $91.33 alcohol tab and walked out without paying.
The manager knew the customer due to him frequently coming in the restaurant and previously submitting an application for employment.
At that time the manager could only remember his first name but was able to describe what he was wearing.
The manager said he did not want to press charges on the subject as long as he paid the tab, according to the report.
But he did want the subject to be placed on trespass notice.
After looking through the officer files, the manager found the subject's last name. The officer visited the subject's address and after questioning, the report said the man confessed to ordering the drinks and leaving without paying. He was provided the opportunity to settle his tab and he paid it off.
