Police were called to a fast food establishment because a driver and his passenger were passed out in their car in the drive-thru line.
Officer arrived and found the two individuals slumped over and the driver was passed out with the vehicle in gear, according to the report.
The officer attempted to wake the driver but shaking him, but got no response.
The officer then did three sternum rubs before he woke up. He was very intoxicated and incoherent, according to the report.
He had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol, the officer reported.
The passenger was then woken up and the officer pushed the car through the driver-thru line.
The driver told the officer they had just left a nearby bar and were heading home.
The officer told him he was going to run him through some field sobriety tests to make sure he was good to driver. The driver told the officer he did not want to do any field sobriety tests.
He was given a few chances to change his mind but he still refused.
He was arrested for DUI and taken to the station where he refused the breath test. He was then taken to jail.
