Why are they stealing my equipment?

A local hospital security guard found a rear door unlocked and propped open. He shut the door and it locked and closed properly. Later that morning he escorted an employee to her office and unlocked her door for her. as he passed by that same rear door, he found it to be open again, and this time there were two quarters wedged into the end of the bolt to keep the door from closing. As this security finished his second set of rounds he noticed the head of a nearby specialty wing walking down the hall. The doctor looked at him and said, "why are they stealing my equipment?"

It turned out, two televisions were stolen from the waiting room. There were no recording security cameras so no suspects were mentioned.

The quarters were taken into evidence for fingerprinting.
