An officer watched a driver roll by with no seat belt on. And then, to make matters worse, the driver failed toyield the right of way when making a turn and almost caused a head on collision.

The officer pulled the driver over and smelled an alcoholic beverage on the man's breath.

The report said his eyes were watery and glazed and he had slurred speech.

He agreed to do some field sobriety tests to determine if he was okay to drive, the report said.

He did not successfully pass any of the tests and was about to be arrested for DUI, but his wife arrived on the scene while the officer was filling out the paperwork. She had been driven up by a neighbor.

The officer explained to her what was going on and she said she had calledthe police the day before and they told her they couldn't do anything. Then she became irate with the officers on the scene. She as asked nicely to leave the scene and she got back intothe car she arrived in. She did not leave however and was warned not to interfere with a police investigation. She then flipped off her husband and started yelling profanity at him, according to the report.

The suspect was placed in the police car sothe wife could not communicate with him anymore. Butthe wife kept cussing. she was finally arrested for disorderly conduct and they both went to jail.
