CSO League hosts annual ball
The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League (CSOL) will host a black tie benefit ball titled “May the Music Never End” on Saturday, Feb. 2 at The Citadel Holliday Alumni Center. The evening will include cocktails, dinner and dancing, plus a live and silent auction, with proceeds to benefit the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and CSOL scholarship programs.
The live and silent auction will include many unique items such as a Behind-the-Scenes Tour of “Army Wives” and lunch with the crew; your event hosted by “Special Occasions in the Box,” which includes the use of Sanctuary Hall in Mount Pleasant, with wine, catering, music and flowers; tickets to the U.S. Open; a mink wrap valued at $7,000; and a week’s vacation in Mexico.
Dinner will feature gourmet stations featuring exquisite hors d’oeuvres, hand carved beef tenderloin, salmon in puff pastry, vegetarian and gluten free options and a surprise dessert. Dancing will be to the music of the band “17 South.”
