Jazz Orchestra celebrates ‘The Music of John Coltrane’

Charleston Jazz Orchestra, Charleston’s own resident big band opens its fifth anniversary season with “COLTRANE: The Music of John Coltrane” at the band’s House of Swing, the Charleston Music Hall located downtown at 37 John St.

There will be two sets, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., with no intermission. Adult tickets $30-$40, Senior and Student tickets $25-$35. Students qualify with valid school ID. Seniors qualify at 65 years old. All student and discounted tickets must be purchased in person. On-site box office sales the day of the show begin at noon at the Charleston Music Hall.
