Florence Crittenton Programs hosts oyster roast and chili cook-off

The public is invited to the Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina annual Oyster Roast and Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Goldbug Island, located between Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s Island.

This family-friendly event will feature all you can eat oysters provided by Sticky Fingers, a chili cook-off showcasing 12 different chili recipes, live music by Smoky Weiner & The Hot Links and an open bar. Also, there will be a special menu for the kids, face-painting and a jump castle.

Advance tickets are available until Feb. 1 with adults prices at $30; 21 and under at $15 and 6 and under for free. After Feb. 1, tickets will be $5 more. To purchase tickets, visit the website of the Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina at www.florencecrittentonsc.org.
