Bust out your best wig and ’stache for SIES

  • Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Friends of Sullivan’s Island Elementary School will host a “Wig and ‘Stache Bash” on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6-9 p.m. at Cinebarre, located at 963 Houston-Northcutt Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.

The red-carpet style event will celebrate the long-awaited groundbreaking of the new SIES building. Proceeds from the “Wig and ‘Stache Bash” will support Spanish, technology, guidance, art and music programs and teachers.

Anyone interested in supporting SIES is invited to attend and encouraged to wear wigs and mustaches. The event includes delicious food, compliments of Cinebarre, a fabulous auction, and a “Wig and ‘Stache” contest held in one of the theatres and judged by Holy City Beard & Moustache Society.

Tickets are $35/person and can be purchased online at friendsofsies.org.
