Five Whitesides Elementary orchestra members were accepted into the Charleston County School District Prep Orchestra recently.This is a wonderful honor. The students are fifth graders Zoey Bennett, Asa Murphy-Caldwell, Joey Watts, Kaylee Royster and Lesene Early. Nancy Cross is their orchestra teacher and she spreads her magic across as many as 10 schools weekly. The orchestra performs a winter and spring concert highlighting the musical talent of CCSD students.
