Kennerty and Lannen wed

Mary Cecile Kennerty of Charleston and Thomas Eugene Lannen of Pawley’s Island were married Dec. 29, 2012, in Flat Rock, N.C.

The ceremony was performed by The Reverend Ken Kinnett, a retired Episcopal priest and friend.

After a trip to the Grove Park Inn, a private reception was held at the home of Brigitte Miklaszewski in Mount Pleasant.

The bride is the longtime director of the Mount Pleasant and Beaufort Junior Cotillion. The groom is a retired senior executive in the IT industry.

He plans to be actively involved with the Junior Cotillion program.

The couple resides in Mount Pleasant.
