Students recognized for citenship

On Dec. 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. the Evening Exchange Club of Charleston recognized three students of the Apple Charter School for the Young Citizen of the Month award for the first quarter of the year. Each recipient was presented with a plaque and a $25 gift certificate. The winners’ parents and teachers spoke about their children and their accomplishments, and how the students’ actions reflect good citizenship. The Evening Exchange Club sponsors this award as part of its support for youth and Americanism.
