The eighth annual Roper Xavier Society Donor Appreciation Gala was held Saturday night at Charleston Place. J. Chris Hawk, III, was honored with the Physician Champion Award. Keynote speaker was Madeleine K. Albright, the first female Secretary of State and at the time, the highest ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government.
