Enjoy oysters to benefit Florence Crittenton Programs

Wells Fargo will sponsor an Oyster Roast and Chili Cook-off benefiting Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. The event will be held at Goldbug Island on Sullivan’s Island. This family friendly event will feature all you can eat oysters provided by Sticky Fingers, a chili cook-off showcasing 12 different chili recipes including, News 2’s Brendan Clark and an open bar with wine and beer. Also, there will be a special menu for the kids, face-painting and a jump castle.

ONe hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina, which provides education, counseling, medical care, social support, and a safe haven for young pregnant women and young mothers in need. Tickets to the event are $35. Tickets for youth ages 7-20 are $20 and children under 6 are admitted free.
