The Sullivan’s Island Fire and Rescue “Under the Tin” oyster roast drew huge crowds Saturday evening. Oyster enthusiasts crowded the Fish Fry Shack for the all-you-can-eat event benefiting the town’s fire and rescue departments.
Proceeds were directed to upgrading facilities and equipment. A live band kept people entertained while waiting in lines for oysters, hot dogs and fish stew.
Financial impact estimates were not available at press time.
