Shawna Garris was recognized by the Mount Pleasant Business Association (MPBA) for two years service as president and three years as treasurer. Mount Pleasant Mayor Billy Swails awarded her an engraved crystal vase and recognized her service to the club. Swails was speaker at the monthly meeting and gave a state of the city address.
