Medical Research South, a healthcare company which manages clinical research trials on behalf of pharmaceutical companies honored its patients recently with the company’s inaugural Patient Appreciation Day.
Medical Research South, a trusted research partner to many of the top physicians in Charleston since 2001, rolled out the red carpet for their VIPs, very important patients, and provided some of Charleston’s finest foods, gave tours of their newly refurbished facility, and had their staff and dedicated physicians on hand to celebrate their patients.
“At Medical Research South, we take great pride in contributing to medical advances and are grateful for the exceptional patients who team up with us to do that. To that end, we wanted to create a fun event – complete with rolling out the red carpet - to show our appreciation,” stated Reg Blynn, Director of Business Development at Medical Research South.
In addition to participating in the Patient Appreciation Day festivities, patients were entered to win an exclusive tour of the Charleston Tea Plantation along with a gift basket featuring items from local businesses. There was also a drawing for an iPad for those patients who took part in Medical Research South’s Patient Referral Program. Guests also received a gift bag in recognition of Medical Research South’s appreciation.
“This was such a great event. I love Medical Research South and the family atmosphere every time I go to their facility. As a patient, I get to help advance medicine while also helping myself. The doctors and staff are always so nice and helpful, and I get new medicines and healthcare for free,” states a Medical Research South patient from Mount Pleasant.
