John Burn stopped for DUI

On Saturday at approximately 9:35 p.m., the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a two-car vehicle collision in the area of Coleman Boulevard and Fairmont Avenue. The suspect, John Burn, who is a Mount Pleasant town councilman, had been operating the second vehicle which collided into the rear of the first vehicle, which had been stopped at a traffic signal., according to a police incident report.
