RSFH nurses among state’s Palmetto Gold winners

Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH) is pleased to announce that 14 of its nurses have been named 2013 Palmetto Gold Award recipients by the South Carolina Nurses Association (SCNF).

Palmetto Gold, a statewide award and scholarship program, recognizes 100 outstanding registered nurses in South Carolina each year. RSFH winners for 2013 came from all three of the system’s hospitals. They are:

Barbara Casayuran, RN, AMSRN – Staff Nurse, 4th St. Vincent, Medical-Surgical

Amanda Stremlow, RN, PCCN – Nursing Supervisor; Staff Nurse, Mobile Resource Pool

Leslie Horton, MSN, RN, PCCN – Staff Nurse, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit

Lillian Cooper, MS, RN, PCCN – Clinical Manager, Buxton Surgical Pavilion

Mary Oyer, RN-BC, MSN – Staff Nurse, Mobile Resource Pool

Sherrel Smith, MSN, RN-BC, NE-BC – Clinical Nurse Manager, Ortho/Neuro and Joint Replacement
