The Rugged Maniac 5k Obstacle Race was held at Boone Hall Plantation, this past Saturday. There were clear skies Saturday in Mount Pleasant, but you wouldn’t know it if you were at Boone Hall.
The Rugged Maniac 5k Obstacle Race made its way to the area and brought hundreds of people wanting a little more out of a race. Participants were drenched in mud navigating terrain that included mud pits, tires, water slides, barbed wire and other obstacles.
