Boating safety course

What: The USCG Auxiliary, Flotilla 12-6, will offer a Boating Safety Course.

When: Saturday, March 16

Where: Daniel Island Library, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Details: This one day class will cover subjects like: underway preparations, legal requirements, navigation rules/charts, boating emergencies, operating your boat safely, federal/state regulations, and enjoying water sports. A fee of $30 per individual or $35 per family (up to six) applies to cover materials. This course is certified by the USCG Auxiliary and the SCDNR. St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser

What: Fundraiser for Crown Leadership Academy
