The Wando rugby club begins a three-match homestand, starting Friday. Games are played at the Cario Elementary fields.
Wando hosts Lexington at 7 p.m. Friday, and Stall and Irmo play afterward at 8:30 p.m.
A week later, Wando battles powerhouse Chapin 1st XV. Chapin is ranked No. 7 in the nation by Rugbymag.com. It could be a preview of the state playoffs, which conclude in Columbia, April 13.
Wando (4-0-1) wraps up the homestand with a local matchup against School of the Arts, March 28 at 6 p.m. Wando is ranked No. 3 in the state, according to RugbySouthCarolina.com.
