Each week, the Moultrie News and Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will feature one local lacrosse athlete. Nathan Kitchens, 10, plays attack for the Juggernauts No. 2 team.
The spotlight series began this past fall with a feature on Mount Pleasant Recreation Department football athletes.
Question: Who is your favorite lacrosse player?
Answer: My favorite lacrosse player is Paul Rabil. He plays for the Boston Cannons.
Question: If you could visit any city or country, where would you go?
Answer: Boston, because there are lots of sports teams there I would like to see.
Question: What is the best moment in your athletic career?
Answer: My best moment was in my first lacrosse game when I got an assist.
Question: What is your favorite Mount Pleasant restaurant?
Answer: Sticky Fingers – I love the ribs.
Question: If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?
Answer: I would be Paul Rabil – he’s my role model.
Question: What is the best advice you have gotten from a coach?
Answer: Work hard, play hard and have fun.
Question: What do you look forward to the most about being an adult?
Answer: Having my own car – I want a Lamborghini.
Question: What do you think is the most difficult and most fun position to play in lacrosse?
Answer: Most difficult: midi because you have to run so much. Most fun: attack because you can score goals.
Question: What is your favorite movie and television show?
Answer: Movie: “Batman the Dark Knight.” TV Show: “Sponge Bob.”
Question: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would you choose?
Answer: Paul Rabil, Kenny Shaw and the guy who plays Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory.
