The Wando rugby club began a three-match homestand this past Friday. The Warriors defeated Lexington, 46-10, this past Friday at Cario Elementary fields, where Wando plays its home games.
Wando turns its attention to powerhouse Chapin 1st XV, Friday at 8:30 p.m. Chapin is ranked No. 7 in the nation by Rugbymag.com. It could be a preview of the state playoffs, which conclude in Columbia, April 13.
Wando (5-0-1) wraps up the homestand with a local matchup against School of the Arts, March 28 at 6 p.m. Wando is ranked No. 3 in the state, according to RugbySouthCarolina.com.
