Etudes With Attitude

Mount Pleasant Performing Arts Company, under the direction of Larisa Dahabi, presented the ballet “Etudes” in their spring concert at the Sottile Theater. The ballet, which is choreographer’s tribute to the dancer, is a representation of the work that must be accomplished by young dancers throughout the long and difficult preparatory years. MPPAC’s performance of the ballet showcased the talent of their dancers beginning with exercises at the barre and then at center stage where the dancers performed their difficult repertoire with grace and a confident attitude that earned robust applause from the audience. Their next performance will be “Beauty and the Beast,” Aug. 17-18 at Sottile Theatre. See more photos online at www.MoultrieNews.com.
