Charleston Animal Society to hold discounted rabies clinics in March and May

  • Thursday, March 21, 2013

Charleston Animal Society will be offering low cost rabies vaccinations on Saturday, March 23 and Saturday, May 4. Vaccinations will be available at the discounted rate of $10 at the shelter, located at 2455 Remount Road in North Charleston. The vaccination drives will run from 8 to 10 a.m. and all pet owners are eligible to bring their pets. Dogs should be on leashes and cats should be in carriers.

Firmly dedicated to the health of the community’s animals, Charleston Animal Society vaccinated 521 animals at its discounted rabies drives last year and 9,836 animals overall in 2012. This not only improves the overall health of the local animal population, it also makes the community as a whole safer and healthier.
