Approximately 1,200 high school students from 33 schools converged on Trident Technical College’s (TTC) Main Campus to explore career pathways during Career Day 2013.

Faculty members from TTC’s academic divisions discussed career paths with students and offered advice about pursuing education and training for that field. Students interested in seeing more of the campus joined tours that were focused on specific programs of study and gave a glimpse of the classrooms and labs for that area of study. Three seminars were available for students to attend: Financial Aid Information, What to Expect at TTC and Myths about Learning.

In addition to learning about careers and getting to know the campus, students enjoyed music, food and games. Coca-Cola, a partner for this year’s event, provided beverages and activities for students, including a Coca-Cola video games trailer, Sprite inflatable basketball station, Coca-Cola prize wheel and giveaway T-shirts and calendars.

Career Day is an annual event that gives high school students the opportunity to visit TTC’s Main Campus and learn about the different programs of study available at TTC. This year’s event marked the 12th annual career day.
