One evening a police officer called for back up after being behind a possible drunk driver. The vehicle was all over the roadway and drove into oncoming traffic.
Officers were able to get the driver to pull over after turning the blue lights on for about a mile.
The officer noticed the driver’s bloodshot eyes, according to the report. He also had a smell of alcohol on his breath.
When questioned about drinking, the driver said he had been over at a friend’s and had two draft beers that “were really very good.” He then went on to say that he would do anything not to get arrested. He even suggested he could call his friend for a ride.
The officer asked him to perform some field sobriety tests, but he refused. When he was told he was under arrest for DUI, he also refused to get out of his car.
After a little coaxing he got out of the car and was carried down to the police station. There he decided to cooperate and he blew a .21 percent on the Breathalyzer machine.
He was then hauled to jail.
