Follow Charleston bird expert Perry Nugent on a new bird walk that will be launched April 13 at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.

Nugent will look for screech owls on an “owl prowl” from 4 p.m. to sunset. The cost will be $6 for members and $17 for non-members.

This price includes general garden admission all day and one additional day within a week of purchase.

Nugent, who has led bird walks at Magnolia since 1988, will start the “owl prowl” at the ticket booth.
