Elizabeth Bridges Boensch, of Mount Pleasant, and Frank Aaron Kline, also of Mount Pleasant, were married April 11, 2013, at The Island House on Johns Island. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by A Cranwell Boensch, great uncle of the bride. Ceremony music was provided by Classical Charleston and Jimmy Ryan on bagpipes.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cranwell Boensch of Mount Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Neville Boensch of Mount Pleasant, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Berry of Columbia, S.C. She is a graduate of Wando High School and received a Psychology degree from the College of Charleston, with a minor in Art. She is employed as a therapist with the Aspire Clinic.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lewis Edgar of Mount Pleasant, and the late Mr. Larry Harold Kline of Charleston. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lewis Edgar, Sr of Easley, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Kline of Charleston. He graduated from Wando High School and the University of South Carolina cum laude with a triple major of Finance, Marketing and Management, and a BA in Business Administration. He is the Executive Chef at Acme Lowcountry Kitchen on the Isle of Palms.
The bride wore a strapless lace gown by Justin Alexander. She wore her mother’s veil and carried a bouquet of white tulips and hydrangea.
Maid of Honor was Samantha Leigh Boensch, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Guerry Shepard, Hibernia Langley Simpson, Ann Swanson Anderson, Eleanor Alexis Ede, Jess Salinitro, all friends of the bride, and Sarah Elizabeth McLaulin, cousin of the bride. Flower Girls were Bridie Boensch and Kathryn Boensch, also cousins of the bride.
Bob Edgar, father of the Groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Randolph Bowers, Robert Davis Simons, Rodger Frederick Tully, Collin Graham Watts, Gabriel Cannon Magee and Justin David Coleman, all friends of the groom. Ramsay McCulloch Boensch and Landon Harmon Berry, cousins of the bride, served as ring bearers.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at Carolina’s Restaurant.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will live in Mount Pleasant.
