Each week, the Moultrie News and Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will feature one local lacrosse athlete participating in the department. Kate Kuisel, 12, plays midfield for the Yellow Jackets.

Question: Who is your favorite lacrosse player?

Answer: My favorite lacrosse player has to be my brother, John Kuisel.

Q: If you could visit any city or country, where would you go?

A: I’ve always wanted to visit Australia and go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef.

Q: What is the best moment in your athletic career?

A: My best moment was in 2010, when I achieved first in the region for cross country.

Q: What is your favorite Mount Pleasant restaurant?

A: My favorite Mount Pleasant restaurant has to be Jack’s Cosmic Dogs. They have the best hot dogs and a great atmosphere.

Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?

A: It would be amazing to be Misty May Treanor, the Olympic beach volleyball player.

Q: What is the best advice you have gotten from a coach?

A: The best advice I’ve gotten was to “hold your stick, be with your stick and sleep with your stick.”

Q: What do you look forward to the most about being an adult?

A: I really look forward to being more independent and being able to get Starbucks whenever I want.

Q: What do you think is the most difficult and most fun position to play in lacrosse?

A: I think center is the most difficult but, it’s also the most exciting.

Q: What is your favorite movie and television show?

A: My favorite TV show is a 60’s spy show called “Get Smart,” and I think the best movie out there is “Remember the Titans.”

Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would you choose?

A: Can it be five people? Because it would be with the five members of “One Direction.”
