A story in the March 27 edition said that I baked 6,000 cookies to share at the Family Circle Cup.
People say “wow.”
Actually, it should have been 600, but since I have baked for all the 13 years, I have baked 6,000.
Just wanted to let you know that there is a spelling error on page one (according to Tom Wolfe that’s what a true newspaperman calls the front page) in your very interesting column.
The present participle of pedal is pedaling, as in “to ride a bike.”
The present participle of peddle is peddling, as in “he peddled his wares.” I am not trying to be the grammar police here, just thought you ought to know.
I like the idea of there being more bike-friendly roads in the Lowcountry, both from a driver’s perspective as well as a bike rider’s perspective.
It makes it safer for everybody to have a spot for bike riders to travel safely.
