Mount Pleasant Rec Department weekly lacrosse spotlight, April 24

Each week, the Moultrie News and Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will feature one local lacrosse athlete participating in the department. Chance Priest, 12, plays midfield for the Boomtown Bombers.

Question: Who is your favorite lacrosse player?

Answer: All the middies for Wando lacrosse.

Q: If you could visit any city or country, where would you go?

A: I would like to visit Australia to go surfing and see all the wildlife.

Q: What is the best moment in your athletic career?

A: I have been fortunate to have many great moments in my young career. This year, there are two lacrosse teams for Moultrie. My favorite moment so far this season was winning the rival game against them.

Q: What is your favorite Mount Pleasant restaurant?

A: We go to Wild Wings after a game sometimes, but Longhorn Steakhouse will always be my favorite for the ribs.

Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?

A: Tom Brady.

Q: What is the best advice you have gotten from a coach?

A: Never take a game or practice off,” and “The test is not to win, but is to test our limits of what we can do.”

Q: What do you look forward to the most about being an adult?

A: Having a car.

Q: What do you think is the most difficult and most fun position to play in lacrosse?

A: Goalie is the most difficult position, and the most fun is middie.

Q: What is your favorite movie and television show?

A: My favorite shows are “NFL Top 10’s and Top 100’s” or ESPN. My favorite movie is “Jack the Giant Slayer.”

Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would you choose?

A: Dad, Bill Belichick and Seth MacFarlane.
