CORRA is pleased to announce it has received a Yamaha OHV Access Initiative Grant of $4,625 to use for the purchase of trail signage for the Wambaw OHV Trails in the Francis Marion National Forest near Charleston. The grant was awarded as part of Yamaha’s OHV Access Initiative promoting safe, responsible riding and open, sustainable riding areas.
This project was funded entirely by this grant, and all installation labor was performed by volunteers from CORRA, under the direction of the USDA, Forest Service personnel. Direction arrows, hazard warnings and general information signage were installed throughout the 40-mile trail system as part of the project.
CORRA is a non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers whose love of OHV riding of all types helps keep area riding areas accessible and open. The group works closely with the Forest Service to accomplish its goals.
