We gave away Charleston RiverDogs tickets this past week, so it's time to extend the giveaway shenanigans to another professional sports team in the Lowcountry, the Charleston Battery.

That's right, here's another easy way to score some free tickets. We'll help you out with the freebies, in exchange for a little help from you.

Let's walk through the steps to make an official entry.

1) Get on Twitter and “follow” @MoultrieNews

2) Tweet us with your favorite part of the Moultrie News, and be sure to include the hashtag #Batterytix

And, you're entered to win five free tickets. Just like that.

To make sure we don't have any head scratching going on right now, here's a sample tweet: “@MoultrieNews, I love the online sports countdown #Batterytix”

Don't forget the “@MoultrieNews” and the “#Batterytix” in your submission. Feel free to tweet as many things that you love about your East Cooper community newspaper, but while multiple tweets are appreciated, they will not be counted.

We want to know what you value the most from us in order to better serve you. Entries will be accepted until Thursday, May 2 at noon.

The tickets are good for seating in the East Stand area at any time during the regular season. They are not valid in the postseason and expire Aug. 30.

If you're not fond of Twitter, you may email theffernan@moultrienews.com and tell him what you enjoy out of the Moultrie News. Please include the subject line “Battery ticket giveaway.”

At the conclusion of the giveaway period, May 2, we'll randomly draw a winner for the five free ticket vouchers. Good luck.
