Learning how to pay for college just got easier. Financial aid workshops will be held May 6 and May 8 at two different Trident Technical College campuses. The workshops are free and open to the public.
Attendees will learn how financial aid, including S.C. lottery-funded tuition assistance, can help pay for college. Attendees should bring their 2012 federal tax return and W-2 statement, and experts will be on hand to assist in completing the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.
It is recommended that the FAFSA be submitted by June 7 to receive financial aid for Fall Semester.
Palmer Campus will host a workshop on Monday, May 6, at 6 p.m., 66 Columbus Drive, downtown Charleston, Room 152. Call 843-722-5516 for more information.
Mount Pleasant Campus will host a workshop on Wednesday, May 8, at 6 p.m., 1125 John Dilligard Lane, Mount Pleasant (near highways 17 and I-526). Please call 843-958-5810 for more information.
