Cupcake helps those in need in Boston

  • Wednesday, May 1, 2013

In response to the tragedy that occurred at the Boston Marathon, Cupcake has launched a special promotion benefiting those affected. One-hundred percent of proceeds from all Boston Cream cupcake sales will go directly to The One Fund Boston organization. Created in a joint-effort by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston’s Mayor Thomas Menino, the One Fund Boston organization is raising money to help those families most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during Monday’s Boston Marathon.

The Boston Cream cupcake is made with a vanilla cake base and is filled with vanilla cream, topped with chocolate icing and drizzled with a delicious ganache. These special cupcakes are available daily at all locations (Charleston, Columbia, Mount Pleasant and Greenville) until Saturday, May 4.
