Classical guitar recitals offer previews of Spoleto

Gregory Guay and violinist Yuhong Tu will perform guitar masterpieces from Spain and Italy as well as Argentinian Tango in two recitatals in May.

There wiill be a classic guitar and violin recital on Sunday, May 12 at 12:15 p.m. in the College of Charleston Recital Hall. Rm. 234, 161 Calhoun St.

Gregory Guay will perform guitar masterpieces from Spain and Italy as well as Argentinian Tango with guest violinist Yuhong Tu. So enjoy your brunch before or after, but make sure to bring your mother to this beautiful recital. Consider this a thorough preview of their performance in the upcoming Piccolo Spoleto. Gregory is completing the College of Charleston’s Artist Certificate Program with Professor Marc Regnier in Classical Guitar. Gregory holds a BFA and Master of Music in Classical Guitar and currently teaches Suzuki Guitar in Mount Pleasant. More information can be found at GregoryGuayMusic.com.

There will also be a recital on Sunday, May 5 at 4 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant First Baptist Church, 681 McCants Drive.
